VIEW COALTROL SLIDESHOW

COALTROL is a suite of advanced control software designed to add value to ‘best practice’ coal processing operations.

COALTROL resides in the process computer that is interfaced to the plant control systems and the on-line sensor or regular laboratory assays for monitoring coal quality of the product stream.

COALTROL tracks deviations in the product coal from specification at each sample interval, and trims the density setpoints of the heavy medium circuits at preset intervals to keep the deviations in product coal quality (ash/sulphur/ energy content) within contractual tolerances.

COALTROL is coded in Visual Basic and operates on Microsoft Windows platforms. COALTROL also operates on platforms that accept Visual Basic executable code.
